MapAction plays a vital role in saving lives and helping to bring hope and resources quickly to affected communities across the world. As a volunteer-based charity we deliver a big impact for a low cost.

We don’t receive funding from large public emergency appeals.

Since 2003 MapAction has worked at the forefront of the world’s most devastating disasters including the Indian Ocean (Boxing Day) tsunami, Haiti earthquake, Ebola outbreak and Mediterranean refugee crisis, as well as many emergencies that never make it into the international news.

We need funds to equip, train and deploy our volunteers (who donate their time free of charge). The more prepared we are, the better we can influence how effectively millions of pounds of aid money is spent. All of which means more lives can be saved.

Please help us to maintain this unique and vital service.
